Texas is the lone star state, and indeed lives up to its name. I was all alone as I entered kindergarten, and started to mold my identity as I began to interact with more and more children. An especial need for this arose because my name happened to be rather prevalent in Texas for some unknown reason, and I had to stand out. I wanted to be THE Austin.

That transformation was abruptly interupted a year into it as my dad found another job up north, a state adjacent to his previous education location.

Texans like baby-back ribs, I think.
